CIEH is recruiting a community of experts to assist with the growth and development of environmental health’s professional body.

The CIEH Partner Network is set to include: technical subject experts; assessment expert and assurance experts.

Technical subject experts will work on new product development, e-learning content, advise on subject matter knowledge and contribute to developing best practice. Assessment experts will help create relevant and robust learning assessment methodologies and papers and join our pool of independent markers.

Assurance experts will collaborate on learning content mapping and assessing learning outcomes across our corporate learning programmes.

Anne Godfrey, CIEH chief executive, said: ‘We’re an ambitious organisation with an important remit and there is a lot on the agenda for the coming year and beyond. Developments such as the new Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner Programme will benefit members, learners, employers and the public alike. But we recognise that we can’t advance this purpose on our own and our core values of professionalism, partnership and inclusivity demand that we don’t try to.’

‘We’re committed to collaborating with the best and brightest talent from across the environmental health community, which is why we’ve created the CIEH Partner Network. It could be you, or someone you know or work with, and there are lots of ways that you can get involved.’

She said that the Partner Network will be CIEH’s first port of call to commission experts. For the individual, it will be a great way to harness their skills, build their profile and professional development and create a more active relationship with CIEH.

Candidates will be asked to submit a curriculum vitae (up to three A4 pages) and an expression of interest (up to one A4 page). CIEH will also hold regular assessment days, in order to explore opportunities face-to-face and to ensure that its robust quality assurance standards are adhered to by all partners.
