Are you passionate about environmental health? If so, we’d love you to help shape the future of the CIEH by joining our advisory panels. These are a great opportunity to develop your own thinking, profile and networks, as well as helping to steer the organisation and its campaigns. This is the next phase of engaging with our members. Here’s a guide to the roles on offer and how to apply.

Advisory panels

These are already vibrant hubs of discussion and policymaking, but we need more voices. We are looking for members with good expertise and a passion to campaign for better standards and legislation in your specialist area. The panels meet once or twice a year and communicate much more frequently by email, as opportunities arise. We will ask for your expertise and knowledge to help us capture key issues in our consultation responses, meetings with Parliamentarians and other activity.

We are also looking for a group of people from across the profession who help us to decide on the topics we explore in the magazine.

We are seeking people from all over the EH world, including local authority officers, private sector EH professionals and consultants, students, academics, trainers. We’ll contact you once a month by email, with some follow-up discussion by email or phone as necessary. Apply here to help with EHN and to take part in advisory panels.

EHN reader survey

We’re going to be making a few changes to EHN in the new year. And we’d love to hear your thoughts on the magazine so we can make sure it’s serving you as well as it possibly can. Please fill in our reader survey (it should take less than 10 minutes).
